The PDF has supported various UNDP Projects that address the issues of human development and poverty allevation; climate change and environmental conservation; and capacity building. Projects supported by the PDF include:

  • United Nations China Appeal for Wenchuan Earthquake Early Recovery Support [more]
  • Capacity Building of University Students from Hong Kong through the UNDP-PDF Internship Programme [more]
  

To assist the Haitian people in their early recovery relief and reconstruction effort, the UNDP is calling for USD 35.6 million for immediate recovery assistance. For the modest cost of USD 5 per person per day, the UNDP can put Haitians back to work - working to rebuilding Haiti.

The PDF is calling for contributions in support of the UNDP's Haitian recovery and relief effort.

The Peace and Development Foundation is a non-profit organisation, founded in 2005, and registered as a charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance of Hong Kong.

The PDF is committed to accountability, transparency, and good corporate governance. The United Nations has a high level of governance and auditing standard and approved to be trustworthy and experienced in disaster relief and humanitarian aid.

For donations to specific projects and programmes, there is no administration deduction by the PDF, and 100% of your countribution goes to UNDP projects and programme.
